I wound up having to rent from another company costing hundreds more and the 3 hour delay made it so I missed skiing that day which was the purpose of the trip. The customer service line had me on hold for additional 45 minutes without anyone picking up. They wouldn’t take another card number and when I asked to get an explanation or talk to another person, she turned off the computer in front of me and moved to another and called the next person in line. This was the card used for the reservation and there was no forewarning about card they would accept. She said that they didn’t do Apple Pay which is not how it works with the actual card. When I arrived at the desk, the attendant wouldn’t accept my physical MasterCard as it was and Apple Card through Goldman Sachs. The online check in didn’t work through their website and app so express check in didn’t work. When I arrived at the Budget desk, the wait was an hour as 2 of the 3 employees went away for 45 minutes.
